MIRL Spotlight

Mining Industry Consortium of Alaska (MICA) Adresses Mining Challenges

Teck Red Dog mine becomes the first founding member of the Mining Industry Consortium of Alaska (MICA). The consortium will utilize MIRL to address specific technical challenges at mine sites. At Red Dog, the MIRL team, consisting of Drs. Tathagata Ghosh and Srijan Aggarwal, will address flotation and water remediation issues respectively. MICA is led by Dr. Rajive Ganguli.
