The design of the American University of Mongolia (AUM) School of Engineering in Dalaanzadgad, to include amount of space, space layout, and equipment needs for each of the classrooms, laboratories, and teaching facilities will be provided by UAF. The UAF Team, represented y Professor Ganguli, will hold regularly scheduled meetings with AUM and Oyu Tolgoi (OT) architects, project managers, and design consultants throughout the length of the contract, to provide the following deliverables: a detailed facilities space planning document which can be used by OT to put the project out to bid for building AUM's initial undergraduate Engineering degree program offerings; and a planning document for AUM's initial undergraduate Engineering degree program offerings; and a planning document for AUM's future degree program offerings. This planning document will be a high level document containing information on such as room layouts and special needs (eg - high voltage requirements, reverse osmosis water systems, etc).
